The Türkiye Culture Route Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, is hosting a series of cultural, artistic, and gastronomic events across various Turkish cities.

In Erzurum, the festival runs from August 15-23, featuring 39 gastronomy stops to showcase local flavors like cağ kebab and kadayıf dolması. Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy highlighted the city’s rich heritage, including Oltu stone craftsmanship and historical madrasas.

Nevşehir recently concluded its nine-day marathon in Cappadocia with concerts and workshops, such as traditional doll-making and living heritage film screenings. The festival significantly boosted the local economy, increasing occupancy in hotels and sales for local businesses.

Malatya has commenced its festival leg, focusing on traditional arts like needle lace (oya), illumination (tezhip), and woodcraft, alongside photography marathons. In Sinop, the 'Traveling Cinema' program is bringing outdoor film screenings and concerts to local squares.

Other regional festivities include the Vize History and Culture Festival and the Pınarhisar Youth and Modified Car Festival in the Trakya region, as well as open-air cinema programs at AKM and community events at the KAFUM Fairground in Kahramanmaraş.
