Malatya Municipality hosts sewing workshops for women

Malatya Büyükşehir Belediyesi is conducting vocational training programs aimed at enhancing the professional skills and social participation of women. Through the Singer Workshop events, organized by the Department of Youth and Sports Services, participants including trainees and students' parents engaged in hands-on bag-making workshops.

The workshops utilized 15 Singer sewing machines and fabric-lined bag kits. These activities were held across three locations: Salköprü Semt Konağı, Şehit Ramazan Sarıkaya Eğitim Merkezi, and Kernek Vahap Küçük Külliyesi Eğitim Merkezi. The initiative focuses on clothing production technology and fashion design technologies to support the socio-economic development of women in the region.
