Malatya reconstruction: 80,000 housing units completed

Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum participated in a program in Malatya to mark the progress of the city's reconstruction following recent earthquakes. The event included the opening of the Merkez Bazaar and Treatment Plant, consisting of 5,716 independent units, and a lottery for the determination of social housing in the Malatya center.

Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Sami Er stated that the city has undergone a rapid transformation through cooperation with the central government. He noted that 80,000 housing units have been built to replace the destruction, helping the city recover much faster than residents had initially anticipated.
