Malatya tradesman leader emphasizes Ahilik values

Basri Orhan, President of the Malatya Attarlar Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, issued a message regarding Ahilik Week, emphasizing the cultural importance of the Ahilik tradition in Anatolia.

Orhan highlighted that the core of Ahilik culture is a ‘people first’ approach, where trust in trade is considered as vital as profit. He noted that values such as honesty, solidarity, brotherhood, and professional ethics serve as the foundation for both historical and modern commerce.
