Meanwhile, the ASEAN Cup 2026 enters its semifinal stage, featuring a highly anticipated matchup between Vietnam and Malaysia. Vietnam, having finished top of Group A, is preparing for the first leg in Kuala Lumpur. Malaysian coach Tan Cheng Hoe has acknowledged his team as the underdog, noting significant injury concerns that have left the squad with only 16 fit players. In Ho Chi Minh City, authorities have approved the installation of giant LED screens to allow fans to watch the matches publicly.
