Malaysia launches Jelajah Malaysia Digital program with AI agent for MyGOV

Malaysia's Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo announced that an artificial‑intelligence agent will be integrated into the MyGOV mobile application, creating a single platform for federal, state and local services. The AI feature is intended to simplify online access, improve digital literacy and help users avoid scams.

The launch of the Jelajah Malaysia Digital (JMD) series in Damansara Damai marks the start of a nationwide outreach that brings free AI demonstrations, training workshops and business opportunities directly to communities. Organized by the Ministry of Digital and the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation, the program supports the Malaysia Digital 2030 vision and aims to equip citizens, entrepreneurs and job‑seekers with the skills needed for an AI‑driven economy.
