Malaysia men's doubles pairs advance at Korea Masters

Three of Malaysia's experimental men's doubles pairings progressed to the second round of the Korea Masters badminton tournament in South Korea. Man Wei Chong and Soh Wooi Yik recovered from a 12‑21 first‑game loss to defeat Japan's Hiroki Midorikawa and Yuto Nakashizu 21‑17, 21‑12, securing a place in the round of 16. Aaron Chia and Aaron Tai also moved forward after a straight‑sets win over India's Bhargav Ram Arigela and Viswa Tej Gobburu, while Tee Kai Wun and Yap Roy King advanced by beating Singapore's Terry Hee and Wesley Koh in three games. The fourth Malaysian pair, Wan Ariff Wan Junaidi and Kang Khai Xing, were eliminated in the opening round. The advancing teams will face opponents from Singapore, Malaysia‑Korea and home‑nation pairs in the next stage.
