Malaysia Ministry of Communications urges telcos to maximize internet for National Day

Malaysia’s Ministry of Communications has instructed telecommunications providers to maximize internet connectivity for the upcoming National Day celebrations at Dataran Putrajaya. Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching stated that preparations have been made to handle the expected surge in data usage, as at least 100,000 people are anticipated to attend the event.

This year’s celebrations are expected to feature unique elements, including the participation of the Johor Military Force and the Ibrahim Class IC 1170cc high-speed interceptor boat, a design attributed to Sultan Ibrahim. Authorities are also focusing on safety and organized parade movements to ensure a smooth event.
