Malaysia Open 2026 golf rounds held in Aomori

The Malaysia Open 2026 golf tournament recently held its second and third rounds in Aomori Prefecture, Japan. Co-hosted by JOGS and the Malaysia Tourism Board, the events aimed to promote Malaysia as a premier golf destination.

The second round took place on July 27, 2026, at Natsuhama Golf Links in Hinai Town, attracting 89 amateur golfers. The third round followed on July 28, 2026, at Biwanodaira Golf Club in Hirakawa City, with 68 participants. In total, 157 golfers from across Japan participated in the Aomori leg of the tournament, competing for spots in the Malaysia Open 2026 Final.

Alongside the competition, a putting contest sponsored by ZIPAIR and IOMIC was held, featuring prizes such as round-trip flights from Narita to Kuala Lumpur. The Malaysia Tourism Board also conducted seminars to highlight Malaysia’s golf facilities, natural beauty, and culture.
