Malaysian Army corporal dies in Kuala Lumpur motorcycle accident

A Malaysian Army corporal died following a motorcycle accident near the Southern Integrated Terminal (TBS) in Kuala Lumpur. The incident occurred around 8:04 a.m. on Jalan Lingkaran Tengah 2.

Lans Koperal Anderson Jerrey Hendry, 24, was reportedly traveling from Bukit Jalil to Sungai Besi Camp on a Honda Wave when he lost control while attempting a U-turn on an overpass. He was thrown approximately five meters from the overpass onto the road below, striking a 46-year-old man riding a Honda Vario.

An Isuzu lorry driver attempted to avoid the two fallen riders but collided with the Honda Vario. The soldier sustained severe head and body injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The 46-year-old motorcyclist suffered a broken left arm, facial injuries, and head bleeding; he was transported to Chancellor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital for treatment. The lorry driver was uninjured.
