Malaysian companies on SGX offer growth potential
Investors may find value in Malaysian companies listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX), despite concerns regarding Ringgit weakness. As Singapore faces limitations in land, power, and permits for data centers, many new facilities are being established in Malaysia, highlighting the economic interdependence between the two nations.
CNMC Goldmine Holdings Ltd is one such company that has seen significant growth. Operating the Sokor gold field in Kelantan, the company reported that for FY2025, revenue nearly doubled to US$128.4 million, while group profit after tax rose more than fourfold to US$52.2 million.
