Malaysian companies report mixed Q2 FY2026 financial results

Johor Plantations Group Berhad (JPG) reported a 16.6% increase in revenue for the second quarter of FY2026, reaching RM415.8 million. The growth was driven by higher fresh fruit bunch (FFB) processing volumes and increased external crop contributions. Additionally, the group benefited from rising commodity prices, with average selling prices for crude palm oil and palm kernel increasing by 9.0% and 10.1% respectively compared to the previous quarter.

Inta Bina Group Bhd saw its net profit attributable to shareholders rise 7.2% to RM10.36 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, despite a 3% decline in quarterly revenue to RM180.51 million. The profit increase was attributed to higher margins from the closing of final accounts on completed construction projects. The group's construction segment profit rose 31.2% to RM9.12 million, while its property development segment saw lower revenue due to projects reaching advanced stages of completion.
