Malaysian factory worker killed while intervening in brawl in South Korea

Ahmad Shah Ahmad Ros, a 26‑year‑old Malaysian employed at a factory in South Korea, was fatally stabbed on 25 July while trying to help a friend during a group fight in Daeso‑eup, Eumseong County, North Chungcheong Province. He was taken to hospital but died around 03:30 KST. South Korean police arrested a Malaysian man in his 40s and other suspects linked to the altercation. Shah's mother, Zulfah Fadliani, and his sister, Ain Sephia, said he was a kind worker who had lived in the country with his wife for seven years and was planning to return home in December. The incident has sparked grief among his family and the Malaysian community.
