Malaysian Moto3 rider Hakim Danish seeks to extend podium momentum at Hungarian GP
Eighteen‑year‑old Malaysian rider Hakim Danish Ramli earned his first Moto3 podium with a third‑place finish at the Italian Grand Prix in Mugello, ending a ten‑year drought for Malaysia since Khairul Idham Pawi’s podium in 2016. The result moved him to 11th in the overall standings with 43 points after seven rounds.
Ahead of the next round in Hungary at the Balaton Park circuit, Danish said he will rely on the race‑craft and confidence gained in Italy. Although he has never raced at the Hungarian track, he believes the preparation with his AEON Credit‑MT Helmets‑MSi team will allow him to adapt quickly and continue chasing podiums.
The rider highlighted the intensity of the Italian race, noting that the leading pack constantly swapped positions and that “a small mistake can change everything.” He aims to build on this momentum at the upcoming Hungarian Grand Prix.
