Malaysian Royals Headline Major Charity Runs in Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya

Raja Muda Selangor Tengku Amir Shah joined more than 15,000 participants in the Navy Run 2026 held at Dataran Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur. The seven‑kilometre event, organised by the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM), featured live streaming from naval bases in Lumut, Kuantan and Kota Kinabalu and included senior navy officials and local dignitaries.

Sultan Perak Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah and Tuanku Zara Salim also took part in the Run for Tigers at Putrajaya Wetland Park, where over 4,000 runners gathered for a 10‑kilometre and a 5‑kilometre course. The run, co‑hosted by WWF‑Malaysia and Maybank, aimed to raise awareness for the conservation of the critically endangered Malayan tiger and featured interactive exhibits, a snare‑avoidance challenge and family‑friendly activities.
