Malaysian states Pahang and Johor participated in the Invest Malaysia Day 2026 program held in Singapore to attract high-quality international investment. The event was organized by the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) Singapore in collaboration with CIMB and the Singapore Business Federation.

In Pahang, Dato’ Mohamad Nizar, Chairman of the State Investment, Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation Committee, highlighted the state's efforts to showcase its unique investment strengths and foster strategic cooperation with international players. The initiative aims to expand services and technology sectors to drive sustainable economic growth.

Johor’s delegation, led by State Executive Councillor Lee Ting Han, presented the state as a “next global investment hub.” The pitch emphasized Johor’s strategic location, robust infrastructure, and competitive ecosystem. This outreach comes ahead of significant regional developments, including the upcoming Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) masterplan launch.
