Malaysian Worker Ahmad Shah Dies After Stabbing in South Korea

Ahmad Shah Ahmad Ros, a 26‑year‑old Malaysian who had been working in South Korea, was killed after being stabbed in Eumseong, North Chungcheong Province, while trying to help a friend who was attacked by a group. Korean police detained a Malaysian man in his 40s as part of the investigation.

His mother, Zulfah Fadliani, and son‑in‑law, Nurcahaya Ruslan, expressed grief and thanked the Malaysian community for assistance in repatriating his body. The body was returned to Malaysia and buried at Bandar Tasik Puteri cemetery in Rawang. Fellow Malaysian Muhamad Jalalludin Othman recalled Ahmad Shah as a helpful, Korean‑fluent member of the expatriate community who often assisted other Malaysians in the country.
