Malaysia's Public Service Department Offers 640 Scholarships for 2026 SPM Graduates
The Malaysian Public Service Department (JPA) announced the allocation of 640 sponsorship slots for high‑performing Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) graduates in 2026. The scholarships are distributed across four programmes: 30 slots under the National Sponsorship Programme, 200 for the Domestic SPM Graduates Programme, 140 for the Japan‑Korea‑France‑Germany Special Programme, and 270 under the JPA‑MARA Special Programme.
Recipients will be able to pursue tertiary studies at leading institutions in Malaysia and abroad, including the United States, Australia, Japan, South Korea, France, Germany, the United Kingdom and New Zealand. Applications can be checked online from 19 June 2026, with successful candidates receiving funding through the Merit‑Based Convertable Loan (PBUA) scheme introduced in 2025. The initiative is part of the Government Madani agenda to develop a skilled, competitive workforce for the nation's future.
