Malaysia's Youth and Sports Ministry funds Moto3 rider Hakim Danish
The Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) said it will continue financial support for 19‑year‑old Moto3 rider Hakim Danish Ramli, allocating RM1.8 million for the 2026 season through a sports‑matching grant and the Sepang International Circuit (SIC). Since 2021 the government has invested a total of RM8.93 million in his development, and SIC is contributing an additional RM453,000 seed fund.
Minister Dr. Mohammed Taufiq Johari stressed that no funding will be cut and outlined a broader goal to produce 10 to 20 more world‑class riders. The programme follows a systematic talent pathway from the Asia Talent Cup, European Talent Cup, Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, and FIM JuniorGP up to the Moto3 World Championship, with encouragement for private sponsorship and use of tax incentives to support athletes.
