Malba hosts ‘Viva Frida’ exhibition featuring 360 personal objects of Frida Kahlo

The Malba museum in Argentina is hosting ‘Viva Frida’, an exhibition featuring approximately 360 personal objects belonging to the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. Organized in collaboration with the Museo Frida Kahlo in Mexico, the collection includes dresses, accessories, documents, photographs, and everyday items that offer insight into the artist's private life and creative identity.

Elina Costantini, director of the Argentine Haute Couture Week, spearheaded the project. The exhibition coincides with the 25th anniversary of Malba and the upcoming Haute Couture Week, which aims to explore the relationship between fashion, identity, and inclusion. This marks the first time the exhibition has arrived in South America.
