Malcolm Kelner releases satirical Obsession spin-off trailer

Actor Malcolm Kelner has released a comedic, over-the-top trailer for a conceptual spin-off of the horror film ‘Obsession’. The video expands on a running joke regarding Kelner’s character, the bartender, who originally held a minor role in the film.

The trailer depicts the bartender embarking on a high-stakes action mission to rescue his ex-girlfriend, Nikki Freeman, from prison. In this fictionalized storyline, Nikki is considered a valuable bio-weapon by the government after surviving a wish that left her invincible. The premise includes a $1 billion bounty and features an unexpected appearance by T-Pain.

Kelner has used social media and platforms like Reddit to lean into the fan popularity of the character, transforming the small role into an absurd, action-packed protagonist through these satirical video updates.
