Malcom nears transfer from Al Hilal to Al Jazira

Brazilian forward Malcom is nearing an exit from the Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal. Negotiations are reportedly advanced for him to join Al Jazira in the United Arab Emirates on a three-season contract. To facilitate the move, Malcom is expected to terminate his current contract with Al Hilal, which was originally set to run until 2027.

During his tenure at Al Hilal, the 29-year-old recorded approximately 46 to 49 goals and 41 assists across 138 to 142 matches, helping the club secure five titles, including the Saudi League and multiple Super Cups.

In a related development, Al Hilal's attempt to secure 19-year-old Rayan as a replacement for Malcom has failed. Rayan, currently playing for Bournemouth in England, has reportedly declined interest from the Riyadh-based club to remain in Europe. Al Hilal is now reportedly targeting Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins as a potential attacking option.
