Maldito Paris launches pop‑up store and Met‑Gala‑style runway in São Paulo

Franco‑Brazilian fashion label Maldito Paris, founded by designer Francisco Terra, opened a pop‑up shop and staged an innovative runway show in São Paulo's iconic Copan building. The event, inspired by New York’s Met Gala, was held inside Cine Copan and was accompanied by the opening of the brand’s store and the “FFF: Fantastic Fashion Fetish” exhibition at Galeria Pivô. The launch follows a global collaboration with Melissa that reimagined classic footwear, marking the brand’s strategic expansion into the Brazilian market.

The show featured the label’s signature “Camp Couture” aesthetic, blending high‑fashion tailoring with 1990s Brazilian pop culture, queer and fetish influences, and dramatic silhouettes that aim to transform clothing into a bold statement of identity.
