Developments in luxury hospitality and marine conservation are underway in the Maldives and Malta.

In the Maldives, the Constance Halaveli resort on North Ari Atoll has undergone a significant transformation. The renovation includes updated beach and water villas featuring modern technology and improved service standards. The resort has also redesigned its arrival zone, pool area, and beach bar, while enhancing its wellness offerings through a new Constance Spa and expanding its wine cellar to include 22,500 bottles.

In Malta, authorities are implementing a new management plan for the Ċirkewwa Marine Park near Gozo. The initiative aims to balance tourism interests with environmental protection. The plan focuses on monitoring biodiversity and protecting habitats, such as seagrass meadows and reefs, while utilizing new technologies like live underwater video transmissions to enhance the visitor experience and support scientific research.
