Maldives Creativity Expo awards presented by President Muizzu

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu presented awards at the Maldives Creativity Expo, recognizing excellence across various sectors. A total of 298 awards were distributed, including 116 first-place honors, 95 second-place, and 82 third-place awards.

The highest distinction, the ‘Gold Top 5’ award, was granted to five standout entries: Mariyam Shahuma for ‘Memory of the Tides’ (Creative Arts and Design), Abdur Rasheed Hassan for ‘Dhoni’ (Woodwork), Usha Adam for ‘Thundu Kuna’ (Jewelry and Accessories), Mohamed Yaniu Ramizu for ‘Avas App’ (ICT), and Adam Mansoor for ‘Kaluvakaru Mosque’ (Construction).

The expo featured 4,404 entries from 419 participants across 16 categories. Handicrafts represented the largest segment with 1,695 entries, followed by Creative Arts and Design with 920. Additionally, 14 participants with disabilities secured 76 awards.
