Maldives Finance Ministry reports 31 million rufiyaa revenue in latest collection

The Maldives Ministry of Finance announced that total government receipts for the reporting period reached 31.08 million rufiyaa. Individual tax categories contributed as follows: 11.3 million rufiyaa from general taxes, 9.3 million rufiyaa from other revenues, and smaller amounts from various duties and fees. The ministry noted an increase of 11.3 million rufiyaa compared with the previous period and highlighted ongoing collection efforts across multiple tax bases.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s administration emphasized that the higher intake supports budgetary goals and will be used for public services and development projects.
