Maldives travel experience at OBLU Nature Helengeli and OBLU Select Sangeli

A week-long travel experience in the Maldives featured visits to two distinct resorts in the Indian Ocean archipelago. The journey began in the capital, Malé, before proceeding by speedboat to OBLU Nature Helengeli by SENTIDO on Helengeli island. Accommodations included a lagoon villa with a private pool and an outdoor bathroom designed to integrate the tropical environment.

The second leg of the trip took place at OBLU Select Sangeli on Sangeli island. Guests are welcomed with the traditional Maldivian 'maruhabaa' ceremony, featuring coconut leaf necklaces and 'boduberu' drumming. The villas at this resort include private infinity pools and glass floor panels for viewing marine life directly from the room.

Both locations offer immediate access to coral reefs for snorkeling. Observed marine life during the stay included sea turtles, eagle rays, stingrays, dolphins, and various reef fish.
