Maldonado and Chascomús announce new municipal registration processes

The Intendencia de Maldonado has announced that registration for street vendor permits for the 2026-2027 summer season will be open throughout October. Interested individuals must apply in person at the Hygiene and Bromatology office in the Edificio Comunal between October 1 and October 30. The permit cost is set at 1,558 Uruguayan pesos. Applicants must be over 18 and provide documentation including identity cards, local civic credentials, health certificates, and proof of residence. Those selling food must also present food handling certificates.

In Chascomús, the Municipal Teacher Classification Tribunal has launched a digital portal for the 2027 teaching list registration. The process is available online until October 30, 2026. While existing users can log in with their DNI, new users can request credentials via the platform. The digital system allows teachers to update profiles, qualifications, seniority, and training. If new information is added, applicants must print, sign, and submit physical copies of their documentation to the Municipal Education office. If no changes are made, the digital PDF receipt serves as sufficient proof of registration.
