Male Cosmetic Procedures Reach 15% of Global Aesthetic Treatments
Men now account for about 15 % of all aesthetic procedures worldwide, according to the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). The share has risen steadily over the past decade, reflecting growing demand for minimally invasive, low‑downtime treatments that deliver natural‑looking results.
The most requested interventions among male patients are botulinum toxin injections to soften forehead lines, frown lines and crow’s feet, and hyaluronic‑acid fillers used to restore structure to the chin, jawline and cheekbones. Specialists note that men typically prefer techniques that preserve facial expressivity and avoid overtly altered appearance. The Spanish Society of Aesthetic Medicine (SEME) reports a similar trend locally, with increasing numbers of men seeking preventive and subtle aesthetic care.
