Malgrate to host FAI Autumn Days featuring historic lakeside sites

The town of Malgrate, located on the eastern branch of Lake Como, will host the ‘Giornate FAI d’Autunno’ on October 10 and 11, 2026. Organized by the Lecco branches of FAI and FAI Giovani with the support of the local municipality, the event features six site openings and a conference regarding the revitalized lakeside.

Highlights include Palazzo Agudio, the current town hall, which was designed by architect Giuseppe Bovara between 1770 and 1780. The building features neoclassical elements such as a two-ramp ceremonial staircase and frescoed ceilings. Other notable sites include Palazzo Agudio Consonni and a former silk mill that operated until 1924.
