Mali Lošinj honors tourism contributors at annual awards ceremony

The Tourist Board of the City of Mali Lošinj held an awards ceremony at the Apoksiomen Museum to mark World Tourism Day. Under the theme ‘Man – the key to success in tourism’, the event recognized individuals, employees, associations, and projects that contribute to the quality of tourism, the preservation of local identity, and community development.

Award recipients included a wide range of professionals, such as agency workers, hospitality staff in hotels and camps, cleaning and maintenance personnel, nautical tourism workers, and medical tourism staff. Special recognition was also given to individuals for their contributions to island promotion, environmental preservation, historical research, and gastronomy. Additionally, several local associations were honored for their roles in preserving the maritime, sporting, and cultural heritage of the island.
