Mali prepares inaugural Mali Kura Investment Forum

Mali is preparing to host the inaugural Mali Kura Investment Forum on December 11 and 12 at the Bamako International Conference Centre. Organized by the Investment Promotion Agency of Mali (API-Mali), the event aims to connect investors, businesses, financial institutions, and project leaders. Organizers expect approximately 1,000 participants, including 400 international attendees. Invited guest nations include Russia, China, Türkiye, India, Morocco, Burkina Faso, and Niger.

The forum will focus on key sectors such as agriculture, agro-industry, mining, energy, infrastructure, and digital technology. Minister of Industry and Commerce Moussa Alassane Diallo emphasized the priority of local processing of raw materials during the launch.

In a separate regional effort to boost the economy, authorities in Koulikoro held a conference dedicated to promoting domestic tourism. The initiative seeks to use local travel as a strategic tool for economic development, cultural preservation, and national cohesion.
