Mali to host BAMEX 2026 international defense exhibition
The BAMEX 2026 international defense and security exhibition is scheduled to take place from November 9 to 13 in Bamako, Mali. Held at the Bamako Exhibition and Convention Center (FEBAK), the event is organized by the Turkish company The Peak Defense under the patronage of the Malian Presidency and the Ministry of Defence.
The exhibition aims to address the evolving security needs of the Sahel region by connecting international manufacturers with African military and government officials. High-level delegations from more than 40 African countries are expected to attend. Participating nations include Türkiye, China, Germany, and Sudan.
A key feature of the event is the ‘Demo Day’ program, which allows companies to provide practical, field-based demonstrations of their systems. Technologies on display will include drones, anti-drone systems, surveillance and reconnaissance tools, tactical communications, border security equipment, armored vehicles, and weapon systems. Türkiye will have a significant presence with over 20 companies, including Baykar, ASELSAN, ROKETSAN, Skydagger, and Prontaron Savunma.
