Malian startup Laverie Leader launches laundry‑tracking app for Bamako laundries

Laverie Leader, a young Malian company founded by brothers Mohammed and his sibling Ouloguem, has released a digital platform for laundries in Bamako. The iOS and Android application records garment deposits, tracks each processing step, and helps manage payments, aiming to reduce delays, lost items, and labeling errors that commonly affect customers.

The founders say the tool centralises operations for both customers and laundry operators, improving traceability and punctuality. Adoption challenges include limited digital literacy among some laundry owners, unreliable internet, electricity cuts, and the cost of devices. Laverie Leader plans to train users gradually and adapt the solution to local practices, monitoring uptake, data protection, and client feedback to assess its effectiveness.
