Maliek Collins activated from PUP list by Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns have activated defensive tackle Maliek Collins from the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list. Collins, who signed a two-year, $20 million contract with the team, passed a physical and is eligible to return to regular on-field practice as of Monday, August 24.

Collins has been sidelined since Week 13 of the 2025 season due to a quadriceps injury. His return provides a boost to a defensive line that has faced significant changes, including the departure of reigning Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett and a season-ending Achilles injury to Alex Wright.

In related roster moves, the Browns waived cornerback Tyron Herring from the injured reserve list and waived tight end Dea’Quan Wright.
