MALIGNANT wins SWC2026 Europe Cup in Hamburg

MALIGNANT has won the Summoners War World Arena Championship 2026 (SWC2026) Europe Cup, held at the Experion in Hamburg, Germany. By defeating veteran player OBABO with a 3-1 score in the finals, MALIGNANT secured the title of European champion and earned a spot in the World Finals.

Throughout the tournament, MALIGNANT overcame several high-ranking competitors, including last year's European Cup winner RAXXAZ in the quarterfinals and PINKROID in the semifinals. The competition featured a new ‘stack ban’ rule, allowing up to eight banned monsters to accumulate across sets, increasing strategic complexity.

In addition to MALIGNANT, OBABO (runner-up) and P4FFIX (third place) have also qualified for the World Finals. The tournament prize pool included $10,000 for first place, $5,000 for second, and $2,500 each for third and fourth place. The SWC2026 regional circuit continues in October with the Americas Cup in Toronto and the Asia-Pacific Cup in Bangkok, leading to the World Finals in Seoul on November 14.
