Malika Ayane announces new album ‘Cicale’ and Italian tour

Italian singer Malika Ayane is releasing her new album, ‘Cicale’, marking her first major discographic project in five years. The album, released via Carosello Records and Believe, focuses on themes of lightness and enjoyment.

Ayane explained the title ‘Cicale’ as a metaphor for the hard work that occurs beneath the surface before an emergence, countering the common association of cicadas with superficiality. The tracklist includes the single ‘detto tra noi’, the Sanremo track ‘animali notturni’, and a duet with Dargen D’Amico titled ‘diversamente’.

To support the release, Ayane is conducting an instore tour across several Italian cities, including Milan, Rome, Genoa, and Catania, throughout September and October. A live theater tour is also scheduled to begin in November.
