Italian artists 22simba and Malika Ayane announce new albums
Several prominent Italian musical artists have announced upcoming album releases scheduled for September 18.
Urban artist 22simba will release the album ‘Miria’ through Island Records and Universal Music Italy. The project includes the final chapter, ‘Atto 3: Provinciali’, which explores the artist's roots and identity. The release follows singles such as ‘Arricchiti’ and ‘2 PASSI DAL CIELO NON UNO IN PIÙ’. A tour is also planned for late 2026.
Singer-songwriter Malika Ayane is returning with her new album ‘Cicale’, her first full project in five years, released via Carosello Records. The album is preceded by the single ‘Detto tra noi’, set for release on September 4. Ayane’s new work, inspired by the metaphorical life cycle of the cicada, will be supported by a tour of major Italian theaters starting in November.
