Mallorca hosts community beach clean-up in Cala Major

A community beach clean-up event will take place in Cala Major, Mallorca, on Saturday, September 19. The free initiative aims to protect the island's coastline and the Mediterranean environment by collecting rubbish from the shore and sea surface.

Organized in collaboration with MBRC The Ocean, Cleanwave Foundation, and Calama Collective, the event coincides with World Cleanup Day. In addition to the physical clean-up, the program includes environmental workshops for children and young people to increase awareness regarding the impact of waste on marine life and the wider ecosystem. While the event is free, advance registration is required as places for specific activities are limited.
