Mallorca police chase ends in arrest of two minors on stolen motorcycles

Two minors were detained in Palma, Mallorca, following a police chase involving stolen motorcycles. The incident occurred on a Wednesday night when the local police observed the individuals driving recklessly through Calle Aragón, weaving between vehicles and running a red light.

The pursuit ended in Nelson Mandela Park in the Son Gotleu neighborhood, where the suspects abandoned their motorcycles and attempted to flee on foot. Both individuals resisted arrest violently. Upon apprehension, authorities confirmed that both motorcycles had been stolen and that neither minor possessed a valid driver's license.

One suspect was intercepted quickly, while the second attempted to escape by jumping a residential fence, resulting in an injury that required medical attention. Both individuals face charges related to traffic safety violations, theft, and serious resistance to law enforcement.
