Mallorca: Tourists loot crash site of L’Osteria founder
Following the fatal car accident of L’Osteria co-founder Klaus Rader on Mallorca, reports indicate that tourists have been looting the crash site for souvenirs. Rader was participating in a driving event on the Ma-10 coastal road between Pollença and Lluc when his Porsche GT3 RS veered off the road and plunged into a ravine.
While the main vehicle wreckage has been recovered, the accident site remained accessible to the public. Witnesses and reports suggest that various fragments, including a side mirror, a broken side window with a sticker, and pieces of the underbody, have disappeared from the scene. One German tourist reportedly took a piece of metal from the roadside after being confronted about the incident.
The 39-year-old co-pilot sustained serious injuries in the crash. Spanish police are currently investigating the circumstances that caused the vehicle to leave the roadway.
