Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka calls for Dalit and Adivasi rights struggle

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has called for a nationwide struggle to protect the self-respect of Dalits and Adivasis. Speaking at a Dalit-Adivasi Self-Respect Conference in New Delhi, organized by the Congress SC and ST MPs Forum, Vikramarka addressed the alleged insult to AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge.

Vikramarka specifically cited a “purification ritual” conducted in Haldwani following a public meeting by Kharge as a serious issue regarding Dalit dignity. He criticized the BJP, alleging the party lacks faith in the Constitution and is attempting to promote ideologies associated with the Manusmriti instead of constitutional values.

Additionally, Vikramarka criticized the legal actions taken against Rahul Gandhi. He argued that instead of investigating those responsible for the incident involving Kharge, authorities filed a case against Gandhi for protesting the lack of an FIR registration.
