Malmö design festival announces rebranding and new location

The Southern Sweden Design Days festival in Malmö is undergoing a rebranding and relocation. After a five-year run, the event will return in May 2027 under the new name, Malmö Design Days.

Organizers from Form/Design Center stated the name change aims to more clearly reflect the festival's location and accessibility. Additionally, the festival will move its central hub from Lokstallarna in Kirseberg to Form/Design Center at Lilla torg. This shift is intended to decentralize the event, encouraging more diverse clusters and collaborations across various locations in the city.
