Malta and Switzerland update Eurovision selection processes

Malta has begun its selection process for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 through the television program ‘The Voice Kids’. The competition, which will air on TVM, features coaches Destiny Chukunyere, Aleandro Spiteri Monsigneur, and Gaia Cauchi. The winner will represent Malta at the contest held in Ta’ Qali at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre this October.

In Switzerland, the submission window for the Eurovision Song Contest 2027 is closing. Acts have until 23:00 CEST to submit songs for consideration for the 71st edition of the contest, which is scheduled to take place in Burgas, Bulgaria. Following the established process since 2019, Switzerland intends to select its representative through an internal selection method.
