Malta Prime Minister discusses upcoming budget amid global tensions

Malta Prime Minister Robert Abela has announced that the government will present its budget this coming Monday. During a Cabinet and Parliamentary Group meeting at Castille, Abela stated that the budget is being prepared within a context of significant geopolitical tensions and international crises that have presented challenges for both Europe and the world.

Abela noted that all seven budgets presented during his administration have been shaped by various challenges. He emphasized that Malta’s strong economy, which is experiencing approximately 4% sustainable growth, allows the government to invest in its citizens despite these global uncertainties.
