Malteser Buxtehude launches new emergency call app for relatives

The Malteser organization in Buxtehude is expanding its home emergency call service with the introduction of the ‘Hausnotruf+’ app. This digital tool is designed to bridge the gap between elderly individuals living alone and their relatives.

When an emergency call or deployment is triggered, the app sends push notifications to relatives' smartphones. Additionally, the app allows users to securely share vital health information and medication plans with Malteser emergency responders. While the app provides enhanced connectivity for families, the traditional emergency call service remains fully functional and independent of smartphone technology.
