Malvinas War Veterans launch municipal training in Quilmes

The Malvinas Quilmes War Veterans Center has completed its second session of mandatory training programs for municipal employees in Quilmes, Argentina. Conducted through a cooperation agreement with the local municipality, the initiative aims to educate public agents on the Malvinas cause, the history of the conflict with England, and the defense of national sovereignty.

Héctor Nazaralet, director of the Malvinas Museum in Quilmes and a member of the Veterans Center board, described the initiative as a way to address a ‘cultural war’ and promote national unity. The program is gaining traction beyond the local district, with veterans from eight provinces participating in interactive forums. Efforts are currently underway to establish a national education forum to replicate this training model across other Argentine districts.
