Mama Shelter to debut 120-room lifestyle hotel in Porto

Ennismore and Propreal Capital Partners have signed an agreement to open Mama Shelter Porto, marking the brand’s debut in northern Portugal. The new 120-room lifestyle hotel will be located in Porto Baixa, near Avenida dos Aliados and the city’s historic center.

Designed by the atelier Dion & Arles, the hotel’s interiors will blend the brand’s signature bold identity with Porto’s local culture, utilizing regional textures, colors, and craftsmanship. The property is intended to serve as a social hub, featuring music-led energy, social spaces, and a high-energy restaurant.

Additional amenities will include private karaoke rooms and spaces for events such as ‘Mama Nights’ featuring live music and DJs. The project aims to cater to a generation of travelers seeking authenticity and cultural connection within the city’s vibrant landscape.
