Mamaia Festival returns with Anca Țurcașiu as presenter

The Mamaia National Light Music Festival is scheduled to take place from August 21–23, 2026, at Piațeta Perla in the Mamaia resort. Anca Țurcașiu has announced her return to the event, where she will serve as a presenter alongside Aurelian Temișan.

Singer Mihai Trăistariu, who gained early recognition at the festival in 1998, stated that while he no longer enters the competition himself, he continues to support the event by encouraging his music school students to participate. He noted that the festival remains a vital launching pad for young talent to be noticed by composers and impresarios.
