Mame to Mugi drama announces BIBI and Natsuka Nakagawa as theme artists

The upcoming TV Tokyo drama ‘Mame to Mugi’, starring Asuka Saito and Momo Tomita, has announced its musical themes. The series, based on the manga by Natsuko Taniguchi, follows two women from different walks of life as they work to revitalize an izakaya.

BIBI will perform the opening theme, ‘Yochi!’, which marks her first Japanese-language track. The song is described as a positive anthem for facing new mornings despite daily exhaustion.

Natsuka Nakagawa, a member of the group FRUITS ZIPPER, will perform the ending theme, ‘Asa ni Naranaide’. The track, which highlights her solo debut, is a delicate R&B song set against the backdrop of a late-night convenience store trip.
